Post Fringe the analysis begins
Well we're back from Edfringe and it's been an interesting one. I'll be doing a longer blog about the whole experience of taking a political show into another country that is about their politics later - needless to say I learned a lot.
The other big take away from the fringe this year is that it has shifted so much with audience attendance, the free movements and the way people attend the festival. I think there is still a case to be made for the 'pay' fringe, but it is difficult to see if it is a financial case.
But in addition to doing my main show, I did my first show in the free section and it was a lot of fun.
I think a blend of the two is the way foward for me. I still worry about the randomness that can happen on the free side - although that said going for a pay room isn't always a promise of the perfect experience.
Overall it was a harder month than I've had in the past, but ultimately a good one. More soon as I endeavour to blog like never before! Which won't be hard because I never did it before, but nevermind that detail.
